DC Chamber of Commerce Launches New Website
The DC Chamber of Commerce launched its new website in January 2018, with a fresh new design for ease of navigation and to better reflect the Chamber’s vision for the future. Visitors will be able to find membership opportunities, DC tourism options and Chamber advocacy initiatives. “This marks a complete overhaul of the DC Chamber website to better capture the spirit and mission of the Chamber, its members and its staff,” says DC Chamber President and CEO Vincent Orange. “We hope our new website helps our member businesses and demonstrates our continued leadership in the District.”

DC Chamber of Commerce 2017 Annual Meeting Highlights
The DC Chamber of Commerce will hosted its 2017 Annual Meeting and Chairman's Inaugural Breakfast at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center Wednesday, December 13, 2017 from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM. Thomas J. Donohue, President & CEO, United States Chamber of Commerce presented the keynote address. The Honorable Mayor Muriel Bowser greeted guests and released the 2018 Small Business Enterprise Opportunity Guide (Green Book). Mayor Bowser announced more than $600 million will be spent with the DC Small Business Community in Fiscal Year 2018. "We were honored to give the Mayor a platform comprised of small, medium and large businesses to present the Green Book." said Marie C. DC Chamber of Commerce Releases 2017 State of Business in the District of Columbia
The DC Chamber of Commerce’s 2017 State of Business in the District of Columbia examines the District’s remarkable economic growth since 1997 and offers insights into the challenges and opportunities ahead. The report provides an overview and analysis of trends that have changed the face of the District’s economy and population. “We have solved our fiscal problems and have a stable and strong economic outlook,” says DC Chamber President and CEO Vincent Orange. This report was prepared with support received from the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development. Read the full report here.

DC Chamber of Commerce Releases External Report of Growth and Retention for Small to Medium-Sized Businesses in the District of Columbia.
The DC Chamber of Chamber, in partnership with the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development (DMPED), commissioned a study to collect and analyze data showing trends and growth factors for businesses with 50 to 150 employees. The findings were reported in the External Report of Growth and Retention for Small to Medium-Sized Businesses in the District of Columbia. “Businesses of this size are typically overlooked when it comes to strategies for growth,” says DC Chamber President and CEO Vincent Orange. DC Chamber of Commerce Highlights from 2017 Chamber's Choice Awards & Gala
The DC Chamber of Commerce’s 2017 Chamber’s Choice Awards & Gala was a major success. The Oct. 20, 2017, event was held at the Marriott Marquis in downtown Washington. Top award winners: Sheila Johnson, Lifetime Legacy Award; PN Hoffman, Economic Impact Award; Compass Coffee, Community Impact Award; McKissack & McKissack, Business of the Year; Ted Leonsis, Business Leader of the Year; Earle C. Horton III, 2017 Chairman’s Distinction Award; and Erika Wadlington, 2017 Chamber Choice Award. Read more.

Vincent Orange, President & CEO, DC Chamber: One Year In!
It’s one year in…and what a year it has been. On Aug. 15, 2016, Vincent Bernard Orange Sr. assumed the position of President and Chief Executive Officer of the DC Chamber of Commerce. He assumed the position with such a roar throughout the nation’s capital that the Washington Business Journal selected him as one of the POWER 100 in the greater Washington metropolitan region. Read more.
