Roundtables & Forums

The DC Chamber hosts periodic symposia and forums, following issues and the most relevant topics facing the city. Our programs are attended by leaders from a broad and diverse representation of the businesses, industries and people driving our economy. These events offer members the opportunity for engagement with the Chamber and their peers through unique and informative meeting formats and speaker presentations. Collaborative forums are an ideal venue for exploring complex sector concerns or examining the impact of regional economic trends on our members.

Economic Intelligence Roundtables

The Economic Intelligence Roundtables bring together civic, government and industry leaders within the District of Columbia for an open, data-driven dialogue to address local and regional policy issues of interest and concern.

By identifying and analyzing policy discussions through a data-focused lens, the Economic Intelligence Roundtables seek to advance community engagement, refine government policies and develop technology-driven strategies to ensure the economic and civic empowerment of the District and its citizens.

The Roundtables seek to encourage data-influenced decision making in the public sector, in particular, growing the economy through proven technology solutions and strengthening government agencies by applying analytic tools and methods.

Focusing on timely topics, the Roundtables produce a series of concepts and recommendations on public policies and private sector practices—with the goal of moving issues from thought to action. Audience members engage with speakers, gathering ideas for new avenues to address current challenges and forming networks to advance the District’s economy and wellbeing.

The DC Chamber presents the Economic Intelligence Roundtables in partnership with the DC Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development (DMPED). DMPED and the Chamber are committed to using economic data to drive positive change and to make the District one of the best places to live, work and grow a business.
