The Chamber works in partnership with the public schools, training institutions and local government to bring solutions to our long-term education and workforce development challenges.
Committee Involvement The DC Chamber of Commerce has eight committees with various activities that give members the opportunity to serve as a voice within the Chamber, a forum for collaboration on business issues and an avenue for building individual business-to-business relationships. (Committee meeting information is sent to our members via email every Wednesday.)
Business Networking Events The Chamber provides opportunities for members to network with each other both in a structured and unstructured format. These events offer an indirect, but strategic, opportunity for members to share and celebrate business and community successes, facilitate the formation of business relationships and provide power venues for members to see and be seen. The Chamber's business networking events include: the Chamber's Choice Awards Gala, the Annual Meeting, and the bi-monthly business networking receptions.
