The DC Chamber's Annual Meeting Luncheon serves to bring together the leadership and membership of the DC Chamber to celebrate the accomplishments of the past year and launch new Chamber initiatives. This year's guest speaker will be Suzanne Clark, President of the National Journal Group and Dennis F. Hightower, Deputy Secretary of Commerce. At the luncheon we also salute the DC Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, inaugurate the new Chairman of the Board and recognize many of our outstanding and dedicated committee members and volunteers for their time and efforts in support of our mission.

Voting for New Officers and Board
The DC Chamber is preparing for the selection of a new slate of Board of Directors, election to be held at the 2009 Annual Meeting & Chairman's Inaugural Luncheon on December 16.
Rules for the election are as follows:
Only "active" members, i.e., current dues-paying members, are entitled to vote at this meeting. In accordance with the DC Chamber By-Laws, the voting procedure for this meeting is that there shall be no write-in candidate board members of the District of Columbia Chamber of Commerce and Nominations from the floor will not be accepted.
We at the DC Chamber value the input and participation of our entire membership, so even if you are unable to attend the Luncheon, we encourage you to vote by proxy.
